Second half of 19th century, unsigned, 42.5 in. octagonal barrel with approximately 10mm bore, front and rear sights, figured maple stock, brass mounts; iron lockplate marked with H pierced by arrow, double-set trigger.
From the Collection of a Virginia Gentleman Working action; wood losses from wear at hammer; barrel with generally smooth patina, though some powder corrosion at breech and occasional light oxidation; stock with 6 in. crack on left side below rear sight; some rusting to lockplate; Fair condition.
