Originally from Shanghai, Qing Min Meng received a BA in Art from the Shanghai Teacher University and an MFA in Painting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He was a senior lecturer in art at Wellesley College from 1997 until his retirement in 2015. Meng's work has been exhibited at Miami Museum of Contemporary Art, Miami, Florida, San Antonio Museum of Art, Texas, Laguna Gloria Art Museum, Austin, Texas, the Osaka Triennial, Japan, and elsewhere.
