Southern Folky Sheraton Chest of Drawers

Virginia or North Carolina, circa 1840, walnut case, yellow pine secondary, rectangular top with applied molded trim, four graduated cock beaded drawers flanked by applied ebonized turnings, scalloped skirt on ebonized turned legs.

Dry surface with finish loss; some water staining; top molding with old chip to rear left corner; top drawer cracked and repaired with cockbeading loss; no key; chips to feet.
