Virginia Mahogany Late Federal Bowfront Chest of Drawers

Attributed to the Shenandoah Valley, circa 1820, poplar and yellow pine secondary, top with vertical veneered edge, four graduated cockbeaded drawers, quarter dust boards, paneled sides, on reeded tapered feet.

Refinished; surface scratches and stains; veneer chips and patches; no key; later drilled pulls; top reset; front left leg with crack and repair; some cockbeading loss.
