19th century, a large oval tray decorated with peony blossoms and a pair of pheasants in the center, the wide rim with circular medallions containing temple landscapes and textile patterns against a gilt and iron red ground, marked with six character mark of Hisatomi Yojibei Masayasu to underside, and a tall vase with barbed rim, shaped vignettes with cobalt blue border containing landscapes or birds and flowers, same iron red and gilt ground as tray.
Vase 15 7/8 in.; Tray 19 in.
Tray has some minor rubbing with minor loss to enamels, felt feet attached to underside.
