Ronnie spent all his life on Knotts Island as a waterman, with the exception of four years spent serving in the Marines. His knowledge and appreciation for carving came from the local craftsman, who mentored Ronnie and became life long friends. In his golden years Ronnie serves as a guide for the Swan Island Hunting Club. He is also a dear friend of Bob's. His work has been featured in Decoy Magazine and in numerous books.
