A Three Gallon South Carolina Edgefield Pottery Jug

Attributed to Thomas Chandler, circa 1850, well-turned ovoid form, pale olive alkaline glaze, with tooled spout, ribbed single strap handle, the front decorated with kaolin slip-trailed floral blossom surrounding a "3".
