Attributed to the Piedmont Region, early 19th century, poplar and oak secondary, applied cove molded cornice with stylized relief carving above a plain frieze, two side-by-side drawers above five graduated drawers, first long drawer with central medial divider, all with scratch bead, scalloped skirt, straight dovetailed bracket feet.

Private Collection of a North Carolina Gentleman Skirt side facings and rear dovetailed feet original; cursive inscriptions to bottom of baseboard, bottom of second to last deep drawer and rear of backboard; top two drawers with wooden under drawer lock system, the right drawer lock now missing.
Replaced pulls; rear edge of left side panel with cut and patch; right side cornice replaced; drawer guides replaced; two drawers with drawer runners rebuilt; two lower shelves with three quarter length oak dust boards; front left and right foot facing tipped.
