Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Early 20th century, interior label reading "E. Martin / Sachsen, Germany, copy of Stradivarius" and incorporating a smaller label stating "Bruno means security," indicating the instrument was imported by C. Bruno & Sons of New York, two-piece maple back, unmarked bow, in modern fiberglass case.
Appears to be refinished; lacking pegs, strings, bridge and tailpiece; quite solid and likely ready to play once fitted with this minimal hardware.
