Serial number 9245 on lower front of frame and on hammer rest, .44 caliber, 6 in. round barrel with C and F stamps, six-shot cylinder with 9241 serial number; STARR.ARMS. Co. NEW.YORK on left side of frame and STARR'S PATENT JAN.15.1856. on right side of frame; inspector's cartouche "GKC" stamped on both sides of walnut grip.

Working action; cleaned metal surfaces with hairlines; patches of light oxidation.
