Circa 1900, likely Virginia or North Carolina, the first a buttocks basket with later brown paint (7 x 7.5 x 7.5 with handle) (some paint accumulation to underside); the second a rectangular basket (6 x 13.25 x 10.5 in.) (some wear from use, old insect damage to rim).
