Pair of English Ceramic Apple Green Jars with Covers

Early 20th century, mark of Carlton Ware, manufactured by W & R of Stoke-on-Trent, with gilt metal mounts, each domed metal cover painted to simulate the powder glaze of the jars, surmounted by pierced carved hardstone finial.
