Attributed Pennsylvania, circa 1810, white pine and poplar secondary, dovetailed case, hinged lipped slant lid with bread board ends, loper support, interior prospect door with inlaid conch shell, removable desk compartment behind prospect door flanked by two vertical document drawers, flanked by four valanced pigeon holes to each side above three small drawers, all drawers with line inlay, the case with four long drawers, each with applied cock beaded edge, flanked by fluted quarter columns, raised on shaped French bracket feet.

Private Collection of a Lady, Raleigh, North Carolina Runner rebuilt on top drawer; one 2-inch cut and patch to second drawer at bottom edge; square patch to right side of case; replaced rear feet; front left foot with break and repair.
