19th century, including a matched set of five glass carafes (each able to contain one bottle of wine) with etched and gilt monogram, together with three silverplate monogrammed wine bottle coasters marked TH. HENRY.
Carafe 8 in., coasters 5 1/2 in. diameter
By descent from the John Jacob Astor IV family of Rhinebeck, New York, through William Astor Drayton, the father of Countess Margaret (Peggy) Reventlow, philanthropist and patron of services for the blind
Some wear to silverplate and gilding loss to monograms; overall good age appropriate condition.
