Early 19th century, poplar, old (possibly original) red paint, six board case with dovetailed construction, hinged lid with applied molded trim, interior with lidded till, applied molded trim to the base, raised on French bracket feet.

Old surface with scratches and staining; interior till lid is detached and has chips to the hinge corners.
