St. Albans, Vermont, before 1834, signed "I. Randall & Co. / St. Albans." on painted steel dial; case with mahogany veneers and cherry sides, pierced brass arms, surmounted by a cast brass American eagle on a globe. Key and pendulum present.

Isaac Randall (1795-1863) was a typical early 19th century rural craftsman engaged in several trades, including the manufacture of clocks. He sold his St. Albans business in 1834, re-locating to Newark, New Jersey.
