Antique Continental Porcelain Cabinet Plate, Queen Louise after Wagner

In the Royal Vienna style with overglaze blue beehive mark to verso, further marked "Louise / Dépose" and with gilt overpainted center mark, presented in a period ornate gilt frame with composition ornament.

Plate 10 in. diameter; Frame dimensions 17 x 17 in.

This first quality plate features a beautifully hand-painted portrait to well. The wide angled flange is boldly decorated with pale blue and rich green accents with profuse raised gold details.

Plate in very good estate condition; the frame with some splitting and flaking to inner edge below plate.
