In a tapered, half hoop design centered with an oval cut sapphire (8.15 x 6.15 x 3.35 mm) weighing approximately 2.60 total carats, with square cut sapphire accents channel set in an X motif on a field of single cut diamond accents weighing approximately .15 total carat (I-J color, SI-I clarity), completed with posts and omega clip backs, stamped 14K.

From the Collection of the late Dobie D. Hogan, Norfolk, Virginia Dobie D. Hogan was a print and runway model in Norfolk, Virginia who began her career in New York working for the Paris designer Mainbocher in the 1950s, and in the 1970s, she was voted "Best Dressed Woman" of Hampton Roads, Virginia. Her lifelong love of jewelry and substantial collection began with her fashionable mother, Louise Jenkins Driver, and developed over Hogan's long involvement with the industry.
Sapphires display a slightly violetish blue hue, very dark tone, and slightly grayish saturation.
