England, mid 19th century, patinated bronze, urn form above an ornately cast standard, with single arm and lamp burner (now electrified for single socket), all mounted atop a square plinth with four scrolled feet, signed and inscribed on embossed brass label on the burner cylinder: "Messenger & Son / 20 / Greville S. London / & / Birmingham;" the pair includes matching frosted glass shades with clear scrolling details and crimped rim.
