A Chinese Gilt Bronze Guanyin Sculpture

20th century, with six character impressed seal to reverse of figure, the goddess of compassion Guanyin is cast seated in a lalitasana pose wearing flowing robes and a crown with a Buddha figure at apex, seated on a horned dragonfish leaping up from animated waves below.

Some white substance at edges of lower wave base; developed patina on sculpture; some wear and rubbing to gilt.
