Probably Southern, circa 1800, yellow pine and oak secondary, dovetailed case, hinged slat lid with bread board ends and loper supports; interior with central hinged prospect door, six valanced pigeon holes, six small drawers with stepped interior, four long graduated lipped drawers, raised on dovetailed shaped bracket feet.
42.5 x 38.5 x 20 in.
Top with wear and maring; interior writing surface with scratching and wear; lopers missing facings; later brasses; break and loss to upper right foot edge; bracket feet with break and repairs; later glue blocks; upper long drawer with lip loss.
