Rare George Waterfield, Bluebill Drake

George Waterfield (1885-1926) Bluebill Drake, Knotts Island, NC. This is an extremely rare example of a bluebill which is made in the similar form of his famous coot decoys. This exact decoy is published on page 150 in Gunnin' Birds as a Joe Hayman made decoy. Recent identification by Chandler Sawyer has this decoy widely accepted as being made by George Waterfield.
