Late 19th century, likely German, one part form with removable carved architectural pediment, silverplate and gilt metal face with a hinged glazed hood door, open cabinet with relief carved rear panel, fluted and turned column supports, lower case with a carved panel, the sides with ormolu mounts, with two decorated brass weights and pendulum, appears unmarked.

From the Personal Collection of Mr. William Ivey Long, Seaboard, North Carolina and New York, New York Old surface with staining and wear; the bottom right corner of the case with joint separation; one weight with some separations to brass covering; the pendulum with break and repair to wood near base, and the brass connector is missing the tip.
