Two Carved Antique Giltwood Table Lamps

Both late 19th century, single socket forms, gesso and gilt over wood, the first with seated figure representations of Jesus and Father upon clouds, mounted to a faux marble painted rectangular wood plinth and ebonized base (HOA 21 in.); the second with carved baluster standard, mounted to a later ebonized base (HOA 23 1/4 in.); both with shades.

Some surface wear and loss to gilt surfaces; figural scene with loss to hands; some rubbing to bases; minor wear to shades.
