Acquired by the consignor from a gallery in Budapest, circa 2002

Polczer studied with Bertalan Karlovsky. He began exhibiting in 1928 at the National Salon and Art Gallery, Budapest, Hungary.

Surface grime; drying cracks to white paint along right edge of painting and sky in upper left corner; some flaking to frame. Not examined out of the frame.
