Elizabeth City Foundry Iron Sinkbox Canvasback Decoy

The Elizabeth City Foundry was the source for most of the North Carolina iron sink box decoys. Originally called the Saunders Foundry, it was founded in Elizabeth City by Joseph Saunders in the 1880s.
