Harry Hamilton (1898-1973), Sea Level, NC. Very rare and important grouping of Classic Core Sound Shorebirds by one of Carteret County's most respected decoy makers. The Beach Robin is featured in Somers Headley`s Book, Shorebirds, page 100, fig 8-2 and in Shorebird Decoys of North Carolina, page 68 by Kroghie Andresen and Philip Harvey. The two curlews are published on page 70 in Shorebird Decoys of North Carolina. These published shorebird decoys are the epitome of great southern folk art.
