Ellie Saunders, Turned Head Canvas Over Wire Coot

Ellie Wilson Saunders (1884-1969), Poplar Branch, NC. Ellie market hunted until it was outlawed in 1918 and then became a guide at the Currituck Shooting Club. This is a wonderful folksy decoy. His turned head coots are very rare.
