Mason Factory (1896-1924), Detroit, Michigan. This curlew was used and collected from The Davis Island Club in Carteret County, NC. The Davis Island Club was founded by Mr. Bernard Leckler of Brooklyn, NY when he purchased the land in 1890. The form and patina on this decoy is incredible. An extremely rare decoy which spent its working days in North Carolina. Stand conveys.
