Circa 1840, rosewood and rosewood veneer, mahogany, oak and white pine secondary, rectangular swivel top with storage compartment opens to reveal a red maize playing surface with banded vertical veneer, stylized cornucopia carved front apron, turned standard terminating in carved acanthus leaf, shaped base with suppressed ball feet on casters.

Later red maize with staining and tear; light surface scratches and tight shrinkage crack to top with very slight warp near front center; staining to base of standard.
