Bolivian, circa 1900, unmarked, white metal alloy with heavy fine silver plating, two-light form recently electrified, ornately cast with hand-chased decoration in the baroque style, the design elements incorporate a merman amidst cornucopias, exotic birds and tropical flowers, of shield form with central raised medallion and surmounted by a finely detailed scallop shell.
20 1/2 x 13 1/4 x 5 1/4 in.
