Maine Scoter, Turned Head

A beautiful turned head white wing scoter in fall plumage from the coast of eastern Maine. The head has a wooden dowel rod which inserts into the body. Al Mitchell 1955 is written on the underside of the body.

Length 18 in.

Original condition; tight crack in neck.
