Born in Superior, Wisconsin on July 5, 1893, Wilmot Heitland, was based in NYC, but also painted along the California coast during the 1920s. He is well known for figurative illustrations, watercolor paintings of genre scenes and landscapes. His artworks are featured in many private and public collections including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Brooklyn Museum and the Philadelphia Museum School of Art.

Good estate condition, some light wear to frame; not examined out of the frame.
