Early 20th century, to include: an early paper maché hyena from the Zoologico Museo in Florence (8 x 11-1/2 in.) (wear and minor chips to extremities); a paper maché steer (10 x 17 in.) (wear and minor chips); a creme ware container in the form of a bulldog, glass eyes, the head being a detachable lid (9-1/4 in.) (repaired shard on body); a painted spelter retriever (4 x 6 in.)(wear to paint); a cast and painted ceramic mastiff (5 x 6 in.)(wear to paint).
