Likely Northern Wei dynasty (386-534 CE), carved stele of a standing monk holding a bowl, rough to sides and back, set into a wooden stand.

10 3/8 x 4 1/4 in. (without stand). Base: 1 3/4 x 5 1/2 x 4 in.

Rough back; scratches; upper left corner appears to have an old repair.
