(James Wolfe Ripley, 1843-1855), brass guard over wooden grip wrapped in leather secured by brass wire; iron scabbard with two suspension loops.

Polished blade with few nicks; brass elements enjoy original patina; wear to leather revels wooden grip; overall light oxidation to the scabbard; minor rust spots to drag.
