France, date mark representing 1757, three part form, marked to lid and pedestal undersides, the slightly domical lid features a large floral basket finial, obverse and reverse figural garden scene and pastoral landscape vignettes to body, one signed lower left "Poitevin," each surrounded by hand gilt borders and a bright blue glazed field, surmounted by an elaborately cast pair of ormolu foliate handles and cove-molded reticulated upper rim, on a porcelain and cast pedestal base with gilt foliate and floral
guirlande decoration.
Urn 12 1/2 x 15 in.; DOA 25 1/2 in.
Good estate condition; some rubbing to gilt porcelain and gilt, the upper lid with restored area to rim lid; one handle is loose.
