George III Mahogany Scalloped Dish Tilt-Top Tea Table

Circa 1770, one board mahogany top with a molded scalloped shaped edge, beveled block support, ring turned standard with spiral twist urn, tripod base, each leg with a relief carved shell and graduated bellflower at the knee, raised pad ball and claw feet.

28 x 32.5 x 32 in.

A fine form featuring an old surface with warm patina and in overall very good estate condition.

Top with light staining; shrinkage split to top side of block.
