A Set of Six Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Crest Plates

Circa 1800, porcelain hand painted with an armorial crest to center with delicate pink and purple floral border and suspended by a pink ribbon from golden swag, the plates have a blue Fitzhugh style border with thick diaper band, gilt rim, underside with European export style foot.

Diameter 9 3/4 in.

Felt pads attached to underside of each plate except one with plastic pads; all with rim chips or nicks, most minor; possible repainting to gilt rim edges; some surface wear and loss minor loss to gilt and enamels on interior decoration of plates.
