Charlie McWilliams (1892-1972) Ocracoke, North Carolina. From the late 1930s to the 1950s, Charlie was most active building boats and decoys. He made these two birds for Tom Pollard of Columbia, SC. These are one of a kind examples mounted on a piece of driftwood. These exact decoys are published on page 122 of
Shorebird Decoys of North Carolina by Kroghie Andresen and Philip Harvey.
