Dexter Snow (1893-1976), Powells Point, North Carolina. Dexter was an accomplished waterfowl hunter and made a living as a market hunter until it became outlawed in 1918. In 1940, he became superintendent for the Whalehead Club. Dexter typically used three swan decoys in his hunting spread. This exact decoy is published on page 228 of
