Wallace O'Neal, Jr. (1896-1976), Corolla, North Carolina. As a teenager, he began market hunting with his father who taught him the ways of a waterman. His decoys typically had large bodies with high angled heads with up turned bills. This style is extremely desired by the southern decoy collectors. This is a wonderful example of his work.
