Robert Pigott (1879-1948) Tusk, North Carolina. Robert Pigott is Carteret County's third oldest known carver. He is responsible for making some of the greatest decoys to ever come out of the Core Sound area. This redhead is a rare and prized example as the head and body are all made by Pigott. Many of his duck decoys have Mitchell Fulcher heads. You will be hard pressed to find a better example than this.
