Lloyd Tyler (1898-1970), Crisfield, Maryland. Tyler was a famed folk artist and decoy maker and his work is prized by collectors. He made his first decoy as a youngster in 1910. He lived most of his life across the street from the Ward Brothers and was influenced by them. This widgeon drake has great folk art appeal as it offers the collector wonderful form and paint.
