Elizabeth City Foundry Iron Sink Box Decoy

Originally called the Saunders Foundry, it was founded by Joseph Saunders in the 1880s. This foundry was the source of most of the iron sinkbox decoys used in North Carolina. The early iron decoys such as this are rare.
