Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Ken Harris (1906-1981), Watertown, New York. Ken Harris allegedly decided to carve black duck decoys to disprove the claim that black ducks were not attracted to decoys. His "true to life" decoys were very successful and a business was created. This particular decoy has wonderful scratch feather paint with a head turned to the right.

Length 18"

From the Collection of Mr. Dale W. Oller, Raleigh, North Carolina

Original.
