Albany slip glazed stoneware, Arden, NC origin, circa 1930, semi-ovoid jug with applied facial features, pierced circular eyes, and open mouth with jagged china teeth, the surface covered in a mottled warm brown glaze, unmarked.

Repaint to left eyebrow; restoration to right ear and surrounding area; firing abnormalities.
