Antique Carved Marble Basin on Pedestal

19th or early 20th century, two part form, large circular marble basin with acanthus leaf carved edge set on a conforming fluted pedestal with an acanthus carved stepped base.

The basin with breaks, repairs and areas of fill; once connected with an interior metal pipe, now cut in two sections; the pedestal base with old break and repair towards the base of the fluted column; edge chips at base edge; the top of the base with white compound and some fragility.
