David Loeb studied Fine Arts at Cornell, Yale, Boston University and Indiana University. In 1985, he was awarded a Fulbright Grant to study Chartres Cathedral and Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. He was awarded a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in 1993. He has taught at the New York Academy of Art and at Parsons School of Design in Paris. Loeb currently lives in Fontainebleau, France.
