The plate, embellished with gold, has border reserves of flowers with hand-painted center of fruit, scalloped edge treatment (11 1/4 in.); the compote is decorated with the gilt and green court dragon and is raised upon a pedestal base (6 3/4 in.) (two small flaws to the gold base rim).
